Twain's Humor

11)The main idea of the Prefatory is how Mark Twain comes up with his ideas for his books, combining his life experiences with his imagination.

2) "I presently found that I could not live on
that alone without occasional bread to wash it down with)" This example is humorous because it reminds me that i used eat a lot of bread!

3)They both talk about how weird and funny idea's can make a story funny, such as how Mark talks about how the story is filled with a lot of adventures and then chapter 42 talks about how he needs to have bread with him, even though the humor is irreverent it is somehow still funny.

4)Mark uses incongruity in his story and old broken down English which then makes it funny.
